9/11/11 OLC Feast of the Saints
The feast was held im memorial of the anniversary of the tragedy that happened a decade previously.
The Mass was held in honor of servicemen and the celebration kicked off with adoration of the blessed sacrament in honor of those who were tragically murdered on September 11, 2001.

The statues of the
saints
were each given a sash for pinning donations on and then were lined up along the railing in front of the alter. In this image Clara Arnone is pinning a donation onto Saint Liberata's sash.

This is an image of Deacon Joe recieving permission from Father Carbonaro to read the Gospel.

This is an image of Deacon Joe's uncle (also a deacon) helping to give out communion during the mass which was held for 11:00 AM that day.

There were many volunteers the day of the feast, and some parisheners who volunteer at the school, volunteered at the festival with their loved ones.

Every year the priest says a benediction and prayers to open the festivals. This year was special, all was done in spirit for those lost in the plane crashes on September 11, 2001.

The fire chief sung a patriotic song for everyone and him and his men partook in the festivities. The Chief and his men even brought the fire engine (which the kids loved!).

Visitors got a delicious plate of spaghetti dinner with a dessert and salad, and there was even take out.
Even the school had spaghetti for lunch; the children got their's for free.
